Pocatello, ID.....still.....

This picture was taken in the Pantry Cafe in the Red Lion Inn, Pocatello, Idaho where we have been in limbo for the last 4 days of our lives. Limbo, because the dealership has other work and hasn`t been able to diagnose the truck in their possession until today. The problem is diagnosed: The oil pressure release valve is stuck. Therefore, a new oil pump must be ORDERED and sent by next day air to Pocatello, Idaho from Salt Lake City, Utah. Well, given our luck, today is a special day in Salt Lake City, Utah. For any of you who are aware, it is Pioneer Day and is celebrated all over Utah and other western states. Yes, a holiday. No shipments going out today! Part is shipping tomorrow, will arrive Thursday and, if we are lucky (which we haven`t proven to be), we will leave Thursday afternoon for home. Should get home Friday or Saturday! Yay!
Now, for this picture. The Pantry Cafe in the Red Lion Inn has some good food. I`ll give them that. However, noone eats here, and the service is crap! I can`t believe this service. The waitress didn`t bring anything without us having to ask. She told us she couldn`t bring our drinks because she had a party of 6 in the corner. Well, if she did, we were her only other table. Plus, David said she hadn`t been in our out of the kitchen holding ANYTHING for the past 10 minutes so her excuse was crap! She spilled my soup when she brought it (which was fabulous btw, pork potsticker soup with about a million veggies and miso broth) ruining the chef`s garnish, which he clearly took time to do properly. I even had to ask for some sauce that was supposed to have come with my appetizer. Now, here`s the kicker.......David tipped her 20%! He used to be a busboy when he was a teen and he totally overdoes his tips. Anyway, I suppose thats why I married him, since he is so specially nice and kind.....but STILL!
